In the warmer weather, open the bi-fold doors, and the outdoor space becomes an extension of the kitchen with an adjustable gazebo offering a covered dining area and comfortable outdoor seating space. Imagine enjoying an ice-cold drink with friends or a moment of peace with your morning coffee as you listen to the birds. Add plump cushions and a large parasol to keep you out of the sun.

And when it's time for bed, you make your way up the stairs to the master bedroom. A delightful room with a high vaulted ceiling, exposed roof trusses, and an entire wall devoted to fitted wardrobes. Open the shutters and gaze across the garden to the fields and countryside beyond. Complete with a private en suite shower room to get ready in peace in the morning.

There are two further bedrooms, equally spacious, so there will be no fights over who gets the better room.

Garden parties and al fresco dining…

Primrose Cottage garden has provided endless memories for the sellers. The substantial lawn has been host to family parties, children's football matches and even a bonfire and fireworks display. A treehouse, complete with a slide and fireman's pole and a commercial-grade swing set, means getting the kids off their computer games and outside for fresh air.

The boys have loved riding on tractors around the gardens and have spent many hours in the treehouse.

Extensive lawns stretch down to trees and shrubs. A treehouse is hidden away, and a swing is set for the children to while away long afternoons. With this much outdoor space, BBQs with family and friends are always great fun. Let the children run and play whilst the grown-ups enjoy a few drinks and a catch-up in the sun. There will often be a football game between the guests by the end of the day.

This has been a wonderful home for our family. The school is amazing, and the beautiful garden has given us endless hours of fun and many happy memories.

In the village and beyond

Step out and about into the friendly village of Mickle Trafford, where the sought after local primary school, with its small class sizes and 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating is only a short walk away.

A friendly village with a family vibe, there is plenty to involve yourselves in on the doorstep. Enjoy a walk to the park with the children or join the popular new Hoole Lawn Tennis Club. The village hall offers a range of activities from baby massage to retirement and Bridge clubs. With activities and clubs to suit all ages, enjoy pilates, French for Fun, Jujitsu, Narrow Gauge Railways, Samba or Street Dance.

Pick up the essentials at the village shop just two minutes' walk away. Chester is easily accessed, along the river or via road.

Keep fit at the nearby David Lloyd gym or cycle along the river to Connah's Quay. There are so many walks and cycle ways to discover. Reward your endeavours with a thirst quencher at The Chester Fields Country Pub, just a little way down road, or head out for dinner at The Bird in Hand. Meadow Lea Farm Coffee Shop is only moments away for a spot of brunch.

From dog walks into Hoole to days out with the family at Chester Zoo, driving practice at the Sandfield Golf Course and Driving Range, to afternoons on the water at Manley Mere Sail Sports and Adventure Trail, there is always something new to experience close by.

Commuters are well placed close to M56 links into Chester, and onward to Liverpool, North Wales and Manchester. Manchester Airport is only 30-35 minutes' drive away whilst Liverpool Airport can be reached in around 25 minutes.
